Social, Economic, and Environmental Justice

Third Harmony Watch Party and Discussion
April 6th at 1:30 pm in the sanctuary.

The Third Harmony tells the story of non-violence; the greatest overlooked resource in human experience
Drawing on interviews with veteran activists like Civil Rights leader Bernard Lafayette, scientists like behaviouralist Erica Chenoweth, futurist Elisabet Santouris and others, THE THIRD HARMONY tells the story of non-violence, the greatest overlooked resource in the human experience.

The film also delves into the important role that non-violence plays on the wider struggle to develop a new theory of human nature, how every one of us can add to our personal growth and fulfilment while benefitting society though the use of this time-tested power. Understand what we can learn from MLK and Gandhi.

A structured discussion will be held after the viewing.

Hope you’ll attend. There is no charge for the film. A donation of non-perishable food would be greatly appreciated.

Northwoods Vision Statement:

We will be a place of transformation. We will transform our community through intentional inclusion, becoming stronger in our diversity. We will transform our world into a kind, humane and just place through our work outside these walls. We will ourselves be transformed by the work we do, the love we show to each other, and the spiritual challenges we set for ourselves.
