Arts In Action
Many thanks to all of you who came out and supported our charities at the 2022 Arts in Action event. We raised over $4760 for our chosen local charities, NAACP of Montgomery County and Angel Reach, and $2000 for Northwoods SEE Justice programs.
What is Arts in Action?
Arts in Action is a night of music, storytelling, poetry, and other entertainment, and of course, ART. We have an exciting ART DASH – every Art Dash ticket holder gets to pick a work of art from the wall when their number is called. We also have an exciting LIVE AUCTION for larger pieces of art.
How is money raised?
- Art Dash ticket sales are used for future SEE Justice initiatives.
- Live Auction proceeds benefit charities.
- Representatives from charities are at the event to provide information about their charity and answer questions. We well collect donations that are given directly to the charities.
Arts in Action is in April 2024, but you can start supporting the event now! Do you have a piece of art that no longer speaks to you? Are you redecorating and the art you have doesn’t fit with your new style? Did you inherit a nice work of art? We accept art donations all year long for Arts in Action!
