Food on the First is this Sunday. We invite you to bring nonperishable food items such as peanut butter, canned beans and vegetables, tuna, pasta and sauce, macaroni and cheese (especially the type that doesn’t require extra ingredients), rice, cereal, canned fruit, and other shelf-stable staples. Items that are easy to prepare and kid-friendly are especially helpful. In addition to donated food items, all plate collections on the First will be given directly to the local food bank to help provide fresh food and other essential supplies. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us care for our community in this tangible and compassionate way.
Unitarian Universalists don’t share a single creed—but we do share a commitment to one another. In this Pathways Pop-Up, we’ll explore covenant as the sacred art of relationship: how UUs promise to be together across difference, what we expect of one another at Northwoods, and why covenant matters most when things get hard. Together, we’ll reflect on our Covenant of Right Relations—not as a set of rules, but as a living promise that helps us practice belonging with accountability. (At 12:30pm in the Garden Room.)
Children will be released to class after the Time for All Ages.
