Finding Rest for our Souls: Save the Date for a Special Guest
6-8 pm Sunday evenings in June (in person and on Zoom)
Through personal story and reflection this class invites you to explore the depths of your own experiences and discover a sense of peace and safety within. Drawing inspiration from the Psalms, Rev. Amber Mattingly and a few of her colleagues share their own journeys of healing and offer practical practices for cultivating inner peace. (Rev. Amber co-led our Worship in the Park last June with Woodlands Christian Church, and we are glad to welcome her back.)
Each session will offer stories and invite you into a practice that holds deep meaning for the author’s life. Class experience is based on the book Finding Rest for Our Souls: Stories of Soul Survivors, edited by Rev. Amber.
Attend in person in The Garden Room, or join us on Zoom! Either way you will be in good company.
