The Service Auction is the largest fund-raising event for Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Church.
But just as importantly, it is a FUN-raiser, helping to bring Northwoods people together all year long.
When you sign up for dinners, parties, classes, hikes, or contests, you get to know others in small groups and informal settings.
Service Auction events are the SECRET SAUCE of friendships at Northwoods!
The 2024 Service Auction event was a success, and it’s not over!
There will be opportunities to participate in open sign up events all year long. Keep an eye out! Every time you join a Sign Up event, our net income increases – have fun, support Northwoods, and most importantly, spend time with like-minded friends!

Annual Pool and Pool Pictionary Party Take a lovely dip, enjoy yummy picnic food and drink, and take part in a raucous game of Pool Pictionary! Now an annual event not to be missed! Please bring a side dish – we will have burgers, brauts, and a vegetarian main course. Plus wine, beer and iced tea! Event at Mark and Doni’s in Montgomery. DATE: Saturday, June 7, 2025 – 5:00 PM (Rain date 6/14). HOSTED BY: Doni Langlois. $25
2nd Annual Holiday Cookie Party in July Join me and let’s celebrate Holidays in July with a cookie decorating party! This is a very informal event all ages (kids under 5 may require assistance from an adult). I will supply an array of holiday cookies, icings and sprinkles, and let’s have fun! We will listen to holiday music and decorate cookies! I will provide light snacks and enough supplies for everyone to decorate and take home 6 cookies. Cookie Decorating can be very relaxing – especially when all of the prep work is done for you! Join us and see what it is about. 🙂 Alcohol-free event in Spring.
