The LGBTQA Justice group is sponsoring a six part Adult forum using the Transforming Hearts Collective online course, “Transgender Inclusion In Congregations”

Transforming Hearts Video and Discussion Series

SEE Justice will be starting an Adult RE discussion of a video series called Transforming Hearts. It is about increasing the inclusion of the transgender community in our churches and lives. The course has six sessions, each of which includes a 45- to 55-minute lecture by Rev. Mykal Slack and Zr. Alex Kapitan, with reflection questions and resources that take the conversation deeper. 

The lectures are pre-recorded so that you can view them at any time that is convenient to you. There will be discussions on the Monday following the Sunday sessions. You do not need to view the video with the group, if the timing is not convenient. Northwoods has purchased rights to show the video and we will be sharing a link with those who wish to watch. The zoom session will use the church zoom Sunday morning log on, and a private logon for the discussion.

The Zoom showing of the first session is planned for this coming Sunday, 8/21 at 1 p.m. with discussion on Monday, 8/22 at 7 p.m. From the Transforming Hearts description:
