Soul Matters: Faith Activities for Families
Stay After Service for Conversation and Community
This fall, Northwoods will be offering regular after-service programming designed to meet the needs of different folks in the congregation:
Second Sundays: Parents with young kids in the home and RE program are invited to join Gay Lynn Pierce, Coordinator of Religious Education, for conversation and support. Each month, Gay Lynn will introduce the coming month’s take-home materials for families as well. This group will begin at 11:45.
RE Coordinator, Gay Lynn Pierce and Reverend Sarah and have been collaborating on a new opportunity for families to connect during the week with each other and once a month with other parents. They found an amazing opportunity through Soul Matters. Gay Lynn will be presenting the first session during Adult Forum this Sunday at 11:45. Parents are invited to join her to learn concrete ways for sharing our faith and beliefs during the week. In this time when our lives are so out of balance, we are looking for easy, no-prep ways to practice our principles and live out our Unitarian Universalist values. Activities for both inside and outside the home will be provided as well as a time for discussion with other parents. Please join us as we kick-off Soulful Home.
The Soulful Home program will take place in the same Zoom room as Sunday service.
These groups will meet in the “digital sanctuary,” using the same Zoom link we use for worship: https://zoom.us/my/northwoodsuu. (Meeting ID: 766 833 5778)
