Service Auction Planning Meeting
The Service Auction Planning Meetings are every Wednesday at 7pm.
The Service Auction is our biggest fundraiser event of the year, and requires a year of planning! Anyone is invited to volunteer. Because it is such a large event, there is a place for any passion. Do you enjoy event decorating, making playlists, wrapping gifts, providing technical support, bookkeeping or record keeping, or making catering displays? Or do you have another passion or interest that would be helpful in creating an OUT OF THIS WORLD event? Anyone with any type of interest in event planning is invited to attend the meetings.
Our 2022 Service Auction Event is on Saturday, November 5.

What is the Service Auction?
After the annual pledge drive, Northwoods’ Service Auction is the largest fundraising event for the church. But just as important, it is a FUN-raiser, too! The events sold at the auction are part of the social hub of Northwoods.
The Service Auction is:
…the biggest party of the year
… a themed auction and dinner event
… a silent auction, raffle and live auction
… an imaginative array of service items and social events, such as a walk in the woods, themed dinners, or vacation rentals.
What does the Committee do?
The Committee members get to
…decide on the theme
…solicit donations from merchants
…enlist volunteers
…create “kick-off” events
…engage the children in projects
…sponsor two events
…and more!
Everyone is invited to help in the fun!
