About Doni
I am a ceramic artist working primarily with hand building techniques. Layers of texture and color are pushed to reveal what has come before as well as the new whole. Much like life and relationships the colors and textures of choices we’ve made, paths we’ve taken – our joys and struggles make up our overall fabric which is extremely interesting to me. The more texture the more I want to examine what’s underneath. I like to add surprise pops of color or buttons and straps for you to find and delight in.
