What’s next??

This year we will use Auctria, an online auction website, for our Silent Auction, Sign-Ups, and payment using debit or credit cards. During the Service Auction event, you will use the Auctria website (or you can download the Auctria app to your phone) to make bids on Silent Auction items and sign up for parties and events.

Frequently Asked Auctria Questions:

Do I have to register with Auctria to bid or sign up? Yes, we are using the Auctria platform for our hybrid event this year.

How do I get a bidder number? Bidder numbers are automatically generated when you sign up with the website.

What if I don’t want to enter my credit card information? When you register, you can choose to enter your credit card information later. Enter your name and contact information, then click on “Continue to Register Card.” When you are on the card registration page, click “Skip this Step.”

What if I want to pay by cash or check? Payments can still be made by cash or check. Checks can be mailed to our PO box (NUUC, PO Box 9236, Spring, Texas, 77387.) If you are attending in person, cash and check payments can be made at the event. Or you can arrange to make payment by emailing office@northwoodsuu.org.

If you have recently been to a Northwoods service, you might have heard some BUZZ about our 2021 Service Auction Fundraiser, and you might be wondering what exactly a Service Auction Fundraiser is.

The Service Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. How do we raise funds? By auctioning off FUN! The Service Auction is a series of SILENT AUCTIONS, LIVE AUCTIONS, and PARTY SIGN UPS! Sign Ups not only raise funds, but they also build community and relationships. Your social calendar can be filled with parties, learning experiences and fun where you get to know others in the church on a deeper level. 

This year the Service Auction event will be a hybrid event, offering “seats” at home and in person. All auctions and sign-ups will be online, so no matter where you choose to attend you can still participate.

The Week Before the Service Auction: Our OFFICIAL Service Auction catalog will be released the week before the Service Auction so you can start highlighting events and items you are ready to bid on.

A Few Days Before the Service Auction: We will open up a SILENT AUCTION preview and offer some items for silent auctions.

Donations to the Service Auction

The Service Auction’s success depends on donations from members, friends, and the community. Would you like to make a donation to contribute to Service Auction success? These are the types of donations we accept:

Auction Items

Do you have items you want to donate? Items can be small or large – basket fillers might include candy bars, nail polish, wine glasses, cooking utensils, holiday decor, small tools, etc… Stand-alone silent auction items might include jewelry, art, nice decor items, “sets” of things, etc….

How to donate Auction Items:

Bring your items to service on our re-opening day (October 3), or you can also arrange with our office administrator to drop off items during office hours by emailing office@northwoodsuu.org. Please bring this completed form with your donations.

Sign-Up Donations

Would you like to donate a party, service, class, or other event for sign-up at the Service Auction? Do you have a special interest you would like to share? You can make a Sign-Up donation! Use this form to offer themed parties (such as Valentine’s dinner, Kentucky Derby Party, Tequila Tasting), classes (pottery, painting, cooking, gardening, and the like), and many other special interest get-togethers (trivia nights, game nights, movies, etc.) for the Service Auction SIGN UPS.
