MillBend CoffeeHouse

The Millbend Coffeehouse is a non-profit live music venue hosted by the Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Church.  Performers come from all over the United States and Canada, and encompass a variety of musical styles.  Performances are held the 2nd Saturday of every month in a smoke-free and family-friendly atmosphere.  Several gourmet flavors of coffee and a variety of scrumptious pastries are available, as well soft drinks.

The Millbend Coffeehouse has a proud history of supporting local charities.  At every performance the audience determines by vote the charity which will receive the proceeds from that evenings performance.  Since the Coffeehouse opened in 1992, the Millbend Coffeehouse has donated over $15,000 to local charities.  Some of the local charities to receive donations include:  The Humane Society, The Montgomery County Women's Center, Conroe Association of Live Music, Women Helping Women, Nature Conservancy, The Woodlands Interfaith, Toys-for-Tots, KPFT-Pacifica Radio, and The Northwoods AIDS Coalition.
